SINOPSIS

Max y Margarita, navegan por sus vidas. Pasado y presente se determinan según su mirada y el café que beben cada mañana. Los días pasan, corren como las aguas del río Cauca, que traen consigo un rastro, una evidencia de esa pérdida, de esa violencia, del conflicto y de ese hijo que han perdido. Ella es el amor de su vida, pero se desvanece cada día a través de los recovecos de la memoria. Como las hojas sueltas de un diario que Max lee, una y otra vez, para reencontrarla, para perdonar, para nunca olvidar, para revivir los pocos momentos que aún le quedan a su lado.

 

Max and Margarita, navigate their lives. Past and present are determined by their gazes and the coffee they drink each morning. The days pass, they flow like the waters of the Cauca River, which bring with them a trace, evidence of that loss, of that violence, of the conflict and of that child they have lost. She is the love of his life, but she fades every day into the recesses of memory. COFFE, LOVE?:

Margarita es escritora y Max es barista. Se conocen y se casan en una región cafetera de Colombia. El trauma de la trágica desaparición de su hijo hace que Margarita sufra de amnesia. Max recrea cada día de su vida juntos y buscan incansablemente el cuerpo de su hijo en el remanso del Rio Cauca. Esta conmovedora historia describe el posconflicto en Colombia y está inspirada en hechos reales.
